We are THE PRISMATICS, a NYC-based partnership offering full service lighting design consultation services for projects of various typologies and scales. With 25+ years of experience in the Architecture, Interior and Lighting Design industries, we offer design expertise in: corporate interiors, educational and public facilities, core and shell fit-outs, residential, hospitality, retail venues, and medical facilities.
We work with both interior and exterior lighting applications and are geared to perform all standard lighting design services from project design and management to light level calculations; from energy code and LEED / WELL analysis to project budgeting and architectural detailing.

Lighting is a visual medium and can strongly impact a space; thus we believe lighting should work in harmony with the architecture and interior design, enhancing the user experience and perception of the environment.
Lighting can function as a visual statement, an accent to highlight architectural forms, or an innocuous luminous presence: functional, yet hidden from view. This layered approach is the key to successful, thoughtful, and fulfilled vision we strive for in our work.

We totally get it - there are times when lighting design doesn’t have to be an award-winning project featured in a magazine. We are committed to a strong working relationship with the Architect / Designer / Client to provide a solid lighting package and work with the real-world project requirements like budget, schedule and challenging site conditions to find the quality, cost-effective and efficient solutions.
